Director of DP Catching:

 Connor Sackett

Connor Sackett serves as the Director of Catching at Diamond Pro Baseball, bringing NCAA Division I playing experience and an extensive background behind the plate to the program.

A Rochester-area native and Fairport High School graduate, Connor grew up training and playing within the Diamond Pro program before continuing his career at Monroe Community College. Following a successful career at MCC, Connor earned the opportunity to compete at the NCAA Division I level at Butler University in the BIG EAST Conference.

As Diamond Pro’s Director of Catching, Connor oversees the development of catchers throughout the program and serves as the lead instructor for Diamond Pro’s Catching Camps and Clinics. His instruction focuses on the complete development of the position, including receiving, blocking, throwing, footwork, transfers, leadership, game management, and catching IQ.

Connor’s experience progressing from Rochester youth baseball to the Division I level gives Diamond Pro catchers the opportunity to learn from someone who has played the position at a high level and understands what it takes to continue developing at every stage.
