Jeff Eckler 

Eckler was an all-county infielder who graduated Webster High School in 2001. He went on to play Division III Baseball at St. John Fisher from 2001-2003.  Upon graduating from St. John Fisher with a degree in history and secondary education, he was hired in 2005 at Webster Schroeder where he currently teaches and coaches.  

Eckler has spent eleven years at all levels of the high school program.  He spent the first three years as the assistant to the Junior Varsity and Varsity programs, before spending the next three as the head Modified coach.  He has spent the last five seasons as the head Junior Varsity coach. In addition to assisting several summer travel programs over the years, Eckler has run the Webster Baseball Camp and Webster Youth Baseball Camp for the past six seasons.   Each camp has featured various top college players and coaches from the Rochester area.  For the past three years he has been an instructor with the U.S. Baseball Academy held at St. John Fisher.  

This will be Eckler's third year with Diamond Pro as he will be the head coach of the 12u team this summer.

Tom Rogers

He graduated from Fairport High School in 2013 where he led his team to two Class AAA Sectional Titles in 2011 and 2013. He was named to the All-Greater Rochester team in 2011, 2012, and 2013. Simonetti hit .618 his senior season and was named All-Greater Rochester Player of the Year. He currently holds the Section V Career Homerun with 25 HR’s. He was drafted in the 35th Round of the 2013 MLB Draft by the Cincinnati Reds.

Simonetti attended Kent State University where he had 31 career HR’s including 17 during his junior season, 96 career RBI and had a career 0.928 OPS. He was drafted in the 13th Round of the 2016 MLB by the Washington Nationals.

He went on to hit .264 with 8 HR’s and 29 RBI in 48 career Minor league games with the GCL Nationals and Auburn Doubledays. He had a career .991 fielding percentage in the Minors.

He was signed by the Lake Erie Crushers in the Frontier League in 2017. Hit .303 with 16 extra-base hits, including 5 homeruns, and 21 RBI in 46 games.

Simonetti played for the Geneva Twins (NYCBL) in 2015. He led the league in HR’s (9), Slugging (0.646), and OPS (1.028).

Conner has worked with Matt since he was 13 years old. He attributes much of his success to Matt’s teaching as well as Diamond Pro’s support along the way during his baseball journey. “I wouldn’t have had the success I’ve had in my baseball career if it wasn’t for Matt, not only as an instructor but as mentor as well.”

Tim Thomas

Maynard graduated from Penfield High School in 1999, where he earned All-County honors in 1998 and 1999 playing both middle infield and catching.  He went on to play at RIT where he was a 4-year starter at catcher and a 2-year captain from 1999-2003 earning All-Conference honors all four years and All-Region honors his junior and senior seasons.  He was voted the team’s MVP his junior and senior seasons and led the Tigers in hitting his junior year with a .398 average.  While predominately a catcher, Maynard also saw limited action at 2B, 1B and OF.  For his career he posted a .345 batting average and a .977 fielding percentage.

Since graduating from RIT, Maynard has 10+ years of coaching experience working with various age groups.  Prior to 2013, he’d coached in various capacities with the Penfield and Greece school districts, Penfield Little League, and the Braman Post American legion team.  Most recently, he spent three seasons as the head coach of a travel team in the Rochester area working with the 15-17U age groups and providing catching instruction for the program.  In addition to his passion for baseball, Coach Maynard is also a competitive skier and runner.  He competes on a national level in biathlon and cross-country skiing and has previously competed in the Olympic Trials for biathlon as well as several other international competitions. He works as a program manager in the Rochester area and lives in Victor with his wife Nancy and their daughter Millie.

This is Maynard's second year with Diamond Pro and will be the head coach of the 15u team.

Jalen Dennis

Dennis attended Aquinas Institute and played four years on the varsity baseball team.  He led the team with a .421 batting average his freshman year.  He was honorable mention all four seasons and helped lead Aquinas to a state title in 2010.  Dennis also played three years of varsity football and basketball.  

He then attended Canisius College where he redshirted as a freshman from 2010-11. Dennis then transferred to MCC and played baseball there from 2011-2013. He pitched and played third base for the Tribunes. Helped the team win a Region 3 Division II championship during the 2012-2013 season.  He finished with a .300 average his sophomore season and was also top in the nation in era in the beginning months of the season at MCC.

Dennis then transferred to St. John Fisher and played for two years on the baseball team.  He graduated St. John Fisher in 2015 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Finance.  He has been at Diamond Pro for over three years and will be the 13u Green head coach next summer.

Anthony Gonzalez

Graduated from Pittsford Sutherland High School in 2011 where he won three sectional championships (2008, 2010, 2011)and a state championship his junior year (2010).  He was First Team All Monroe Country and all state his sophomore, junior, and senior years while earning First Team All-State honors his senior year.  Kaczka also made the All Greater Rochester Team his senior year.  

He then attended Monroe Community College and had a very successful career on the diamond.  He played in all 48 games his sophomore year while helping to lead the Tribunes to a NJCAA Division II regional title.  He batted .376, with 4 home runs, 40 RBI’s, 48 runs, and 11 stolen bases.  He also earned First Team All-Region and Academic All-American honors.  

Kaczka then transferred to Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and Minor in Coaching.  Chosen as a captain by his teammates his senior year, he was part of a team that went 40-19, one of best in the Big South Conference that year.  Kaczka hit .369 his senior year which led the Big South.  He also set a school record and tied an NCAA record by hitting three triples in a game during the regular season.  He was honored with Second Team All-Conference his senior year as well as the All-Tournament Team.

During the spring of 2017, Kaczka was the Volunteer Assistant at Winthrop when the team won the Big South regular season title.  

This will be Kaczka's third year at Diamond Pro where he will once again be the head coach of one of our 17u Showcase teams.  He will also be responsible for Diamond Pro's social media as well as other day-to-day operations. 

Rob Consaul

Consaul graduated Fairport High School in 1993 where he was 2-time all country as a catcher.He then went on to SUNY Cortland where he graduated in 1998 with a degree in Elementary Education Pre-K through 6th Grade.  In 2003, he attended SUNY Brockport where he graduated with a master’s degree in Elementary Education Pre-K through 6th Grade.  He has been teaching for 18 years and is currently teaching 5th grade at school #25 in the Rochester City School District.

Consaul has been coaching all levels of high school baseball for 18 years.  He was the head varsity baseball coach at Penfield where he coached numerous All-County players, All-Greater Rochester players, and All-State players.  His teams won Section V Class AAA Championships in 2009, 2010, and 2012 as well as earning state rankings.  Consaul was also named Section V Class AAA Coach of the Year in 2012.  He was also the head coach of several summer baseball teams including an MCBR 17u team, an MCBR 19u team, and both Junior and Senior American Legion Braman Post teams.

Consaul is currently the assistant varsity baseball coach at McQuaid Jesuit High School.  This is his second year with Diamond Pro and will coach the 14u team in the summer of 2018. 

Ben Fuller 

Fuller graduated from Penfield High School in 1999.  He was a Monroe County All-County Selection in the 1997, 1998, and 1999 seasons.  Fuller then went on to play NCAA baseball at RIT.  He was an All-Conference selection in 2001 and 2002 seasons.

Fuller began his coaching career in the American Legion league, coaching the McQuaid American Legion team in the 2000 and 2001 seasons.  He then went on to coach the Braman Post American Legion team.  Fuller coached Braman Post to District championships in 2004 and in 2007.

Fuller’s high school coaching career began in Penfield in the 2004 season as a Varsity Assistant.  He then went on to coach 4 years of modified baseball in Penfield before accepting a JV position at Olympia High School in 2009.  Fuller then became the head varsity baseball coach at Olympia High School.

He is currently in his third year as the Webster Schroeder varsity baseball assistant coach.  His team won the 2016 Section V Class AA Championship, a regional championship, and were runner's up for the state championship.  Fuller is entering his fifth year of coaching with Diamond Pro.  He most recently coached the 16u team and will be the 17u Showcase White team head coach in the summer of 2018.

Tony Fuller

Fuller is in his eigth year as Diamond Pro's General Manager and Head of Team Operations.  Before moving into his current position at DP, Fuller spent five years as an assistant coach at Monroe Community College. MCC won four NJCAA Division II Region 3 titles with Fuller as an assistant.

The Penfield, N.Y. native served as the Tribunes' hitting coach and recruiting coordinator. During his tenure, Monroe's offense flourished including the 2013 squad which finished the season with a team batting average of .355 including six regular players hitting .350 or better. With Fuller manning the third base coach's box this past season, MCC finished top ten in the nation with 138 stolen bases while being thrown out on just 34 occasions (80 percent efficiency).   Monroe annually sent 7-10 players on to four-year schools while Fuller was with the program. He worked closely with two players (Danny Mendick and Jon Klein) who have since gone on to professional careers. Danny Mendick is currently a member of the Chicago White Sox. 

As a player, Fuller helped MCC to regional titles in 2005-06. He was an All-Region selection his sophomore season when MCC won a then-school record 40 games. Fuller went on to play two years at the State University of New York at Buffalo before serving as a volunteer assistant with the Bulls program. He coached the Hornell Dodgers of the New York Collegiate Baseball League for two seasons and guided the Dodgers to the 2012 Western Division regular season title. 

Fuller is also in his seventh year as the Head Varsity Coach at McQuaid Jesuit High School.  During just his second year at the helm, the Knights went 17-6, won the Class AA Section V Championship in a comeback, dramatic fashion, and advanced to the state semifinals. Fuller's 2019 Knights squad finished the season 24-2 and were sectional, regional, and NYS class AA champions. The state championship was the first in program history. Fuller was honored as AGR Coach of the year. The 2019 team also finished ranked 24th in the country in the final USA today poll. Fuller's 2022 squad won his third sectional championship, third regional championship, and were crown class AA NYS champions for the 2nd time in his tenure. Fuller was honored as AGR Coach of the year for the 2nd time in his career.
