Matt Dryer's School of Hitting

After playing professional baseball for 7 years with St Louis Cardinals and the San Francisco Giants, Matt Dryer is now back in the Rochester area. Matt recently joined forces with John Valle and formed the Matt Dryer Diamond Pro School of Hitting. Matt's Diamond Pro School is based at the Valle Ball Club in Greece NY.

Matt has been an important part of the baseball scene in Rochester for some time. As a standout player at McQuaid Jesuit High School in 1998, Matt was named as a USA Today High School All American. During his high school experience, he was also drafted by the S.F. Giants in the 35th round.

After high school, Matt earned a full scholarship to the University of Miami and played on the Hurricanes team that won the 2001 National Championship ("College World Series") in Omaha NE. While at the U of M, Matt was drafted again by the S.F. Giants in the 15th round.

Matt now specializes in Hitting Instruction for Little Leaguers, High School and College level players. As a coach and hitting instructor for the East Coast Grays, an elite travel baseball team playing at the national level, Matt is working with some of the best young baseball talent in the Rochester area.

Matt Dryer's School of Hitting Rochester NYMatt has attended the Bucky Dent Hitting School in Florida and has a classic training in hitting and hitting instruction. Using the latest drills, tools and high speed video with stop action analysis, Matt can help young players improve their batting average and have more fun playing baseball.

Matt Dryer's Diamond Pro School of Hitting offers a variety of programs and clinics as well as individual and group instruction. Instruction is held at the Valle Ball Club based in the Rochester Sports Dome in Greece NY.
